Support the persecuted church: Global Christian Relief https://link.globalchristianrelief.org/ryan
In Episode 67 of The Jesus People Podcast, Seth Gruber delivers one of the most provocative and challenging conversations we've ever had on the state of the church, abortion, pornography, masculinity, spiritual warfare, and the future of Western civilization.
Why has an entire generation become disconnected from biblical truth? Why are so many churches silent about abortion, gender ideology, and the sexualization of children? Why have Christian men retreated from the cultural battle?
Seth argues that the greatest threat facing the church is not simply political decline, but spiritual forgetfulness. Drawing from Scripture, church history, C.S. Lewis, G.K. Chesterton, and modern cultural trends, he explains why societies collapse when Christians stop engaging the culture and why Christian men must recover courage, conviction, and moral leadership.
This episode challenges believers to move beyond passive faith and embrace the responsibility of defending truth, protecting families, and living boldly for Christ.
Key Highlights:
Why Western civilization is a "cut flower"
How abortion became normalized in modern culture
The connection between pornography and passive men
Why spiritual forgetfulness weakens the church
What C.S. Lewis meant by "men without chests"
The role of Christian men in defending truth and family
How sexual revolution and child sacrifice have historically gone together
Why courage is a muscle that must be exercised
The future of the pro-life movement after Roe v. Wade
What Christians can learn from church history and spiritual warfare
If you are concerned about the future of the church, the family, masculinity, and biblical truth, this conversation will challenge and equip you to think deeply and act boldly.

This is a hard podcast for me to make.
I’ve found myself publicly part of this story, and I believe it’s right to speak to it with clarity, honesty, and love.
In this video, I walk through the full timeline of my relationship with Neeza—how we met, what I saw, the conversations we had, and how we got to where we are now. I also share what I’ve learned about platforming people, the weight of influence, and the spiritual realities that come with it.
I had two phone calls with Neeza yesterday. They were hard conversations. I share parts of those here with his permission.
I also want to be clear about something: this was not a grift. This was not about money. This was not a setup. Conspiracy-driven comments are not helpful and they are not true. This is a real person on a real journey—and our first response should be to pray.
This video is not about tearing someone down. It’s about telling the truth, taking responsibility where needed, and calling all of us—myself included—back to the fear of the Lord and obedience to His Word.
We all have areas where Scripture confronts us. Areas where our desires don’t align with God’s design. Those are the places we’re called to surrender, to pick up our cross, and to follow Jesus.
I also speak directly to Neeza in this video.
Brother, I love you. I’m here for you. And I’m praying for you.
If you’re watching this, I would ask:
* Pray for Neeza* Be careful how you speak* Examine your own heart first* And hold both truth and love together
“The fear of the Lord leads to holiness, and the kindness of the Lord leads us to repentance.”
